DOUG O’NEONS – DoP/CAMERA OPERATOR – REST IN PEACE

The GBCT was recently informed that highly respected Camera Operator, Doug O’Neons, who worked on numerous well-known films and for many exceptional DoP’s died recently.  Born in November 1939, Douglas O’Neons – nicknamed Dougie Onions – worked his way from trainee to clapper loader, to focus puller to camera operator, to 2^nd Unit DoP to Director of Photographer.  His list of credits was long and impressive and stretched from 1960 to 2006.  He worked internationally and spent many years in the USA before returning to England.  Please check out IMDB for the vast list of his credits.
