ACO/GBCT Telescopic Crane and Stabilised Head workshop
The Association of Camera Operators (ACO) and the Guild of British Camera Operators (GBCT), in collaboration with one of our joint patrons, Sunbelt Rentals UK, is pleased to announce a Telescopic Crane and Stabilised Head Workshop. Application deadline is: 22 April. The workshop fee is £100.

Workshop details:
The workshop will comprise of a series of lectures and practical exercises, presented by experienced camera operators from the ACO and the GBCT. These instructors will elucidate the operational mechanics of the head and crane, demonstrating their most suitable applications in creating filmmaking.
The exercises will address prevalent challenges encountered by camera operators on set, with a focus on the craft of blocking action, framing, eyelines and timing of movements. Additionally, communication with grips and camera assistants will be an integral component of the workshop.
To optimise the workshop's efficiency, A and B cameras will be utilised, allowing attendees to maximise their interaction with the equipment and engage in discussions with the tutors.
The workshop has a limited capacity of 12 attendees and is open to both Full and Associate members of the ACO, as well as members of the GBCT who are currently employed as camera operators.…
